On the 08-05-1991 Werner Dreund got these whelpes from the Kölner Zoo. Werner had the information, this Zoo was the only one in Europe, who had this particular species.

The Indian wolves are mostly active in the evening and night. These very shy species differ in their behaviour to the Arctic and the European wolves

Although they are together, they hunt separately.

Maharadscha is the only one who is still alive, and although he is 15 years old he is still very healthy and alert
